I was recently asked to write a blog for NHS employers about my recovery journey and role working within the NHS. My role includes producing and facilitating training courses based upon mental health and I get to use my own experience of OCD and my personal recovery journey. I run training courses based upon living with OCD and have produced other courses regarding body dysmorphic disorder, exercise for health and I run a national programme aimed to stamp out stigma and increasing understanding of personality disorder.
My time within the NHS has been both enjoyable and rewarding, where I have had the opportunity to work alongside so many individuals who have inspired me, nurtured me and believed in me too.
If you would like to check out my NHS blog about my recovery journey you can find it in the link below.
